Quicker pricing for pre-calculation

MWM PreCalculation is a pre-calculation tool that calculates print costs. The process of pricing services is significantly facilitated through efficient information management. Staff involved in the pricing of services have access to a common information base which means they carry out unanimous calculations.

The same cost basis

The tool is developed according to a model that calculates direct and indirect costs.

Its administrative module manages basic parameters such as paper, plate and labour costs. The caluclation module has a popular function which makes it possible to base new calculations on existing ones.

Administrative module
The administrative module of MWM PreCalculation writes basic information for paper, plate, capital and labour costs. This includes overheads such as parameters specific to the printing plant, e g production speeds for various mailroom processes and VAT. Once the basic information is established, it is easy to calculate the costs for any given print product.

Calculation module
The calculation module includes a smart function that enables new jobs to be based on existing calculations. For each new calculation, basic information about pagination, print run, substrate and so on is entered. Once all data has been entered, MWM PreCalculation calculates the cost. All calculations are stored in a database and can be retrieved when new jobs are to be calculated.
